Google Books is a rich source of full-text documents (books and other materials) published prior to 1923 that are now in the public domain.
    • Google Scholar

    • JSTOR
A substantive archive of approximately 15 scholarly film studies journals, all full text. In most cases, the last 3-5 years are not included in the archive. Full text journals include Cinema Journal, Film History, Film Quarterly, and Journal of Film and Video,
    • MLA International Bibliography
Premier scholarly index, with numerous links to full text, to criticism in the areas of literature, language, linguistics, film studies, and folklore, published from 1920-present.

    • WorldCat
Search catalogs from libraries across the country and around the globe. Items owned by Trexler Library show a Muhlenberg College Library icon. Evaluating sources for scholarly content

    • UlrichsWeb Periodicals Directory
Database that provides bibliographic information, including if a journal is peer-reviewed or not, on international periodicals. It covers all subject areas.
