      Books

      • Encompass Search
To find only books, use the Book limit box on the left sidebar of your search results page. You can also limit to Muhlenberg College or search books in Libraries worldwide.
      • GoogleBooks
Portions of the text of many books can be found here.

      Articles (popular and scholarly)

      • Academic Search Complete
A subscription database. Good starting place for journals, and includes the full text of about 3000 journals. Limit to "peer reviewed" to find only scholarly articles. Back issues of journals begin as early as 1990. Recent issues may not be included yet, due to publisher agreement. Journals held in Trexler Library are marked accordingly.
      • America History & Life
U.S. history and culture journal articles.
      • Google Scholar
Broad-based access to scholarly journal articles, especially when connecting to campus journal holdings.
      • Historical Abstracts with Full Text
A subscription database for non-U.S. history. Some full text.
