Encompass Search is more than a typical ‘Library Catalog’-- it is a unified discovery tool powered by the OCLC WorldCat Database. Through one simple search box, it allows you to find information by searching through a massive collection of books, scholarly journals, newspapers and magazines, dissertations, conference proceedings, music, video, maps, and more.

Trexler Library makes a trove (almost 2 million and counting!) of electronic books available for research and reading. This guide will help you find, use, and troubleshoot ebooks.

Trexler Library provides access to over 70,000 streaming films and documentaries. The library provides streaming access by purchasing perpetual access licenses, digital site licenses, and limited-term streaming film licenses. The primary providers we use are Alexander Street Press, Kanopy, and Swank along with other providers as needed.

Trexler Library is a U.S. Government Depository Library, which means that we receive physical copies of many government documents that the Government Printing Office (GPO) prints, as well as electronic resources.

At Trexler Library, paper and microform copies of U.S Government Publications are in a separate section on Level A. These publications are shelved using the Superintendent of Documents numbering system (SuDoc Numbers). For help with how to read a SuDoc Call Number, please refer to this tipsheet.
