Locating and using Ebooks available through Trexler Library

Trexler Library makes a trove (almost 2 million and counting!) of electronic books available for research and reading.  

Getting started

You can find links to Ebooks from Trexler Library through one of several resources:

1. via a search of our online catalog and discovery service “Encompass Search.”  If you need help locating resources with Encompass Search, please see our Encompass Search guide
2. within Canvas through your course syllabus or other documents;
3. in a Subject Guide or Course Guide on the library website;
4. from a handout or list of resources from your professor.

The resource where you located the ebook may provide you with a link (URL/web address) to access the ebook. If you have a title but no link, search for the ebook in Encompass Search.

The next steps are dependent on whether you are on campus or off campus.
