Streaming Video collections at Trexler Library

Trexler Library has many options for providing video online, streaming, and via Digital Site License.

Overview of Streaming films and video

Trexler Library provides access to over 85,000 streaming films and documentaries.

These titles include documentaries, feature films, and primary source material, among other content. Most of these titles are findable in the library's online catalog, Encompass Search. To locate streaming video, complete your initial search in Encompass, then use the Format filters on the left side to limit your results to "eVideo."

Alternatively, you can navigate to each individual vendor's site and search or browse their offerings.  The pages of this guide outline further each platform's offerings and navigation as well as user models.  The primary providers we use are Alexander Street Press (Academic Video Online, or 'AVON'), Kanopy, and Swank along with other providers as needed.

This guide links to information about the streaming content providers we have licensed access with.  Additionally if your students need access to an individual title that we do not have licensed we will make every effort to provide that content.
