Criterion Pictures
Criterion has a large inventory of films that are regularly used for educational purposes, including licensing for public performances. Films available include many feature films, from studios including 20th Century Studios, SearchLight Pictures, Troma Films, New Concorde, among others. Does NOT include PPR.

To purchase rights

If you would like to use a video for a public performance as defined in this guide, the specific terms of the licenses for individual films that have PPRs can be provided by library staff.

Note that most streaming 'Feature Films' do NOT have public performance rights (PPR) included.

This includes most films from Swank and Criterion Pictures.

This doesn't mean you can't use a film from these vendors, but it does mean that if you wish to publicly screen a film from these vendors outside the classroom, you will need to procure PPR prior to viewing.
